Clayton Method OS is a business operating system for small businesses: booking and calendar, contacts, conversations, documents and payments in one workspace. It connects to accounts you already have rather than replacing them.
This page covers adding, using and removing those connections.
Zoom
Adding the app
1. Sign in to Clayton Method OS at claytonmethod.ai.
2. Go to **Calendar → Connections**.
3. Select **Connect Zoom**. Zoom asks you to sign in and shows exactly what the app is requesting.
4. Choose **Allow**. You return to Connections, which now shows the Zoom account you connected.
You need a Zoom account you can sign in to. A free Zoom account works; note that Zoom limits free-plan meetings to 40 minutes.
Usage
Once Zoom is connected, each of your bookable meeting types can create a Zoom meeting automatically.
- When a customer books a time on your booking page, Clayton Method OS creates a Zoom meeting for it and puts the join link in the confirmation email, the calendar invite and the manage-booking page.
- If the booking is rescheduled, the Zoom meeting is updated to the new time.
- If the booking is cancelled, the Zoom meeting is deleted.
Nothing is created for meeting types you have not enabled Zoom on, and no meeting is ever created without a booking.
Removing the app
You can remove the app from either side, and both revoke our access.
- **From Clayton Method OS:** Calendar → Connections → **Disconnect** next to your Zoom account. We revoke the token with Zoom and delete the stored credentials immediately.
- **From Zoom:** Zoom App Marketplace → Installed Apps → Clayton Method OS → **Remove**. Zoom notifies us and we delete the stored credentials.
**What happens to your data.** We delete the Zoom access and refresh tokens straight away; we hold no other Zoom data. Zoom meetings that were already created stay in your Zoom account — removing the app does not cancel meetings your customers have booked. Bookings already in your workspace keep their join links, which continue to work because the meetings still exist in Zoom. Future bookings simply will not have a Zoom link until you connect again.
To delete your whole workspace instead, see Deleting your data.
Google Calendar
Adding the app
1. Go to **Calendar → Connections**.
2. Select **Connect Google** and choose the Google account to use.
3. Choose which of your calendars count as "busy".
We ask for calendar access only. We do not request access to Gmail.
Usage
- Your booking page offers only times you are genuinely free, checked against the calendars you selected.
- Bookings are written to your Google Calendar as events, and updated or deleted when a booking moves or is cancelled.
- Your existing events appear alongside your bookings in the in-app calendar.
Removing the app
Calendar → Connections → **Disconnect**, or remove our access from your Google account connections. We delete the stored tokens. Events already written to your calendar remain yours and are not removed.
